    Running Injuries

    Typically affecting the lower limbs, running injuries can be acute, traumatic events or overload conditions which develop gradually over time.

    ACL

    A sprain or tear to the key ligament that stabilizes the knee joint.

    Neck Pain

    Knee Osteoarthritis

    Runner’s Knee

    Pain at the front of the knee or around the kneecap is a common running related injury, but is also experienced by active people such as cyclists and hikers.

    Shoulder Pain

    Tennis Elbow

    A condition common in people playing racquet sports which is caused by overload to the forearm tendons and leads to pain around the outside of the elbow.

    Wrist RSI

    Continuous repetitive movements causing micro-trauma to the wrist tendons, muscles and nerves resulting in pain and reduced function.

    Achilles Injuries

    Injuries to the tendon at the back of the ankle and lower calf ranging from a sudden traumatic tear to pain which onsets gradually.

    Plantar Fasciitis

    Bursitis

    Bursitis involves irritation of fluid filled sacs around joints, leading to pain and reduced movement.

    Degenerative Disc Disease
